Quentin and Uma go way back, but their friendship ended abruptly in 2004 after a very dramatic stunt scene went terribly wrong on the set of Kill Bill: Vol. 2.
Many years after the incident, Uma reveled she had felt pressured to do a stunt scene involving driving a car, and she then lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. She injured her leg and was angry at Quentin for jeopardizing her safety. Only recently did the two get back on speaking terms, and Uma no longer blames Quentin.
