Susan Wojcicki has been described by Time magazine as “the most powerful woman on the Internet,” and there are plenty of reasons for that. She’s been the CEO of YouTube since 2014, but her history in the industry is much longer.

She was Google’s first marketing manager, and she worked her way up until she became senior vice president of Advertising & Commerce, handling two of Google’s largest acquisitions – including YouTube’s, in 2006, for $1.65 billion. Today, her net worth is estimated to be nearly $500 million.
