With an estimated wealth of $8 billion or so, Aliko Dangote is not only one of the richest men in Africa, but also the entire world. His main source of income now is from the Dangote Group, but it wasn’t always like that. Dangote slowly rose through the business world from a childhood fascination with trade.
He would buy and sell candies at school to make some money as a kid before going to school to learn the business of, well, business. The Dangote Group was formed after he graduated and it just grew and grew.
