Laura can’t recall the first day she woke up. It was explained to her that she had woken up terrified and in pain many times, unable to recall the previous time. One she did recall, when Brayden had their wedding album next to him, and regarded her calmly.
She then describes how she spent the next two years in unbearable and inexplicable pain. The accident had affected her spine, causing Laura to suffer from agonizing back spasms and headaches. She describes the pain as ‘tear-jerking’ and ‘white-knuckling’.
