For as long as we can remember, prom has always been a big part of high school. This was even as far back the ’70s, when elaborate “promposals” were most certainly not a thing.
In those days, boys would casually ask their girlfriends to prom when they were just in class or in the line in the lunchroom, as though asking them to pick a restaurant to eat at. However, this is a photo one guy shared of his Dad’s prom form the ’70s.
