The concept of a public swimming pool is not a new one. There are a lot of families out there who enjoy spending a hot summer’s day lounging by one.
This is a photo from the ’60s in Detroit’s inner city, where children are being taught swimming lessons as their parents watch eagerly from the sides. We are pretty sure that these mobile pools are not even a thing anymore, although we would love to see one.
