The boy’s track and field coach was having a relationship with one of the male students on the team. A few other coaches and the principal found out, but they chose to cover it up. When the rumors increased, someone who wasn’t going to cover it up found out, and it was eventually reported. As a result of the cover up, all the coaches and the principal were fired. The school had to get all new coaches, and the sports teams took years to recover from the scandal.
