Given what is known about delayed adolescent development and hormones, it should not come as a surprise that when you trap a bunch of teenagers in the same building day after day for years, hijinks and drama will ensue. One kid thought it would be fun to find out how much heat his classmates could handle. So he brought hot sauce to lunch. At first, kids were just trying small drops and freaking out a little. But when it turned into a competition with students having larger portions, chaos broke out. Students were both crying and vomiting. As students went off to the nurse, someone alerted the principal. He got on the loudspeaker and announced that everyone needed to “get off the sauce.” At that, everyone just started laughing.
