I was in science class, and we were working with burners for an experiment. Well, this one girl didn’t listen to the teacher, and her hair caught fire. Luckily, it was immediately put out, but not before the fire alarm sounded. While we were standing outside, waiting to be allowed to go back in, the rumors started. One guy told me that “a girl’s face got burned off.” When the girl was too embarrassed to go to school the next day, the rumors took off.
