Known as the Heart of the Amazon, Manaus is a beautiful place that has easy access to both the jungle and the river. There are several breathtaking views here, but the most amazing is the famous Meeting of Waters. This is where the blue Rio Negro meets the Amazon River.
Similarly to the jungle on the shore, the beach is dangerous. It has thick foliage that hides some of the most dangerous creatures on earth. We aren’t even just talking about your standard croc, either.
