It’s no secret that people working at pizza shops probably aren’t going to become rich doing what they do. Many people take the job to save up for something specific – like high school students wanting a car, or someone trying to get extra cash for college. That being said, the minimum wage and skimpy tips can make anyone feel down, no matter if it is their career or just an after-school job.
When a joke was requested, the person had had enough and they decided to confess something to their customer. Things at the pizza shop were bleak, and no one was in the mood for jokes. In fact, there just wasn’t any joy left at all.
