With that being said, though, some other comments contradicted the use of WD-40 as engine oil in the first place. They stated that the liquid was intended to be used as a way for cleaning engine parts rather than powering a vehicle.
Just because it said it could be used for engines on the back of the jerry can didn’t mean it would work as oil. However, Dajnowicz and his friends weren’t interested in its intended use. That’s why they were doing an experiment – they didn’t know what would happen.
