Viewers of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ will know Terry Crews as the insanely buff – but not always tough – NYPD Lieutenant Terry Jeffords. The role came after appearances in comedy movies like ‘White Chicks’ and sitcoms like ‘Everybody Hates Chris.’
It also followed on from a series of commercials that he did for Old Spice. In the videos, Crews showcased his comedy skills as he advertised the male grooming products. The hilarious commercials made the actor an instant hit, so it’s no wonder he landed the part on ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ soon after.
