Ask people what this man’s real name is, and they might not be able to tell you. However, there’s a good chance they’ll probably recognize him as the most interesting man in the world. That’s the character that he played in a series of commercials between 2006-16.
Goldsmith was so popular in the role that he ended up becoming a meme before the internet trend really took off. Jonathan hasn’t done much since the commercials, but he did appear in the musical rom-com ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.’
