The second fun fact is about Colt’s iconic Chevrolet truck. According to a featurette on the show’s behind the scenes, the original truck used for the stunts caused a lot of setbacks with filming – mostly because the heavy and dangerous stunts took their toll on the truck’s condition.
In fact, in the first season, they managed to get through several different vehicles, causing inconsistencies that can be spotted by a keen eye. By the third season, General Motors adapted a specially-designed truck for them that could withstand the wear and tear.
