Posing next to a luxurious car is something men and women, famous and not, do on the regular these days. It’s hardly unusual or controversial. But few know this trend started for women in the 20s, and it was definitely a bold move. This was a natural consequence both of the massive advancements in automobile technology and the changing role of women.
That being said, this photo trend was frowned upon for quite some time – so the ladies in these photos were most likely more rebellious than the average 1920’s woman.
