Ok, this doesn’t seem that weird to us anymore since we unfortunately are also in the middle of one. But up until very recently, it was mind boggling to see pictures like this one.

Dealing with a pandemicIn 1920 the Spanish flu was just coming to an end, after having ravaged the world for two years. During that time, people had gotten used to social distancing, and face-mask wearing. And then as now, people sometimes got a little creative with it.
