The Prohibition started in the beginning of 1920 and lasted for thirteen years, so it’s safe to say it strongly impacted society and culture during this decade. But people back then were very creative when it came to finding ways to break the rules.
Especially women had many tricks up their sleeves, two of them can be seen above. Hiding a flask under your dress, or carrying a fake book containing liquor were just two of the many ingenuous ways people snuck alcohol wherever they wanted.
