What is it with Hollywood casting American actors to play British roles? Some of them pull it off, but others use such a fake British accent that it is awkward to watch. When Kevin Costner was given the role of Robin Hood, everyone panicked – and rightly so.
It was clear from the get-go that Costner couldn’t do a British accent and many believe he completely ruined the famous role. In fact, his accent was so bad that someone made a parody of the whole movie.
