Lee Child’s protagonist, Jack Reacher, was a huge veteran vigilante that traveled across America. The character himself is meant to stand at 6’5”, with a 50-inch chest, and weigh in at 250 pounds. Given this character description, we are confused as to why someone even thought of Tom Cruise in the first place.
Considering Cruise isn’t even 6 feet tall, we can’t imagine what was going through the casting crews’ heads when they were looking for their protagonist.
