When Khan Noonien Singh was portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, people were pretty upset, to say the least. The character was always meant to be of Asian descent, which Cumberbatch couldn’t be further from.
Why would the casting crew decide to give the role to a white British guy, who was meant to have Indian heritage? Unfortunately for this movie, a lot of people got involved with politics, rather than enjoying the experience of watching it.
