David Thewlis is an absolutely fantastic actor, but his part in the Wonder Woman movie just felt all wrong. Critics and fans alike were shocked when it turned out this 50-something-year-old politician turned out to be the villain in the movie.
Perhaps the whole point was to shock, but people felt like the casting directors could have found someone a bit more believable to play the God of War Ares. After all, most of us know him as Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter movies!
