As one of the most loved American actors of all time, you would have thought that Keanu Reeves would be the first choice for any movie. However, sometimes his portrayals and performances aren’t quite right for the character he has been given.
Despite Bram Stoker’s Dracula winning several Oscars, Reeves received a lot of criticism. He was playing Jonathan Harker, who is a quintessential English man. According to critics, Reeves’ English accent was awful, as he tried far too hard to get it right – which was pretty distracting in the movie altogether.
