After the man had concocted his genius plan, he decided to put it into action. All he needed to do was make his way back to his apartment and use his key to get in – just as he did when he lived there with his ex-girlfriend. His ex and her new boyfriend weren’t expecting him to walk into the apartment, let alone into their bedroom or in the midst of their romantic breakfasts.
This shock and anger was exactly what he was after because he wanted to irritate them as much as possible. He used the apartment to shower, he offered to share his burritos with the two of them, and he even asked them all about their day. It was still his apartment, so he had every right to be there.
