This movie followed the life of the man often regarded as the most impressive stuntman in history, Sonny Hooper. This role was obviously given to Burt Reynolds, while the role of his girlfriend was given to Sally Field. Although Sally’s character tries to get Hooper to retire from the stunt world, he is determined to complete one final stunt.
