One thing that seemed to be hard for Harry when stepping down as a senior royal, was to give up his military role as Captain General of the Royal Marines, a title he was quite proud of.
Harry reportedly told senior officers of the Marines that he was “devastated” about having to step down as Captain General, but felt that he had “no choice” in the matter. He also reportedly said that he felt as if he was “letting people down.”
