Since uploading his first video in 2007, Tyler Oakley has amassed a YouTube following with over 7 million subscribers. He has take a positive and supportive stance in his involvement with LGBTQ+ youth and LGBTQ rights, vocalizing his thoughts on education, suicide prevention and healthcare regarding these communities.
However, it apparently takes a lot more to impress one seventh grader, who used twitter to express that they ‘don’t even like Tyler Oakley.’ The YouTuber responded by blocking the seventh grader’s account.
