Director Quentin Tarantino is known for having a somewhat eccentric bearing, which would undoubtedly make meeting him a surreal experience. While shopping one day, a person encountered Tarantino, and asked him about what film he was working on at that point.
Tarantino responded with a somewhat difficult to follow ramble about a film set during WWII – and also seemed to be fixated on the person’s sandals. When ‘Inglourious Basterds’ was released in 2009, the person finally understood what Tarantino had been talking about.
