Bill Nye has a fairly impressive profile as a scientific educator and activist, but that isn’t the most impressive thing about him. One day, someone was taking him in an elevator to an event he was attending, but they realized that his trademark bow tie was not yet tied.
Obviously that wouldn’t do, so they dared him to see if he could tie it before the elevator ride finished. Nye simply grinned, and finished tying the bow tie with ample time to spare. Never doubt the Nye bow tie.
