Of all the things that adults try to prepare teenagers for when they enter the “real world”, the speed at which life begins to go is something that’s almost impossible to prepare for. It’s something that even seasoned adults don’t understand how to stop.
Logically speaking, time moves in the same seconds, minutes, and hours each and every day. Yet, for whatever reason, it just seems to go faster and faster every single year. After a while, it just becomes something you get accustomed to dealing with.
