It’s amazing, we spend our entire childhoods wishing we were grown up and our entire adulthoods wishing we were kids again. It can’t be overstated enough just how precious the days, months, and years are being a child (or even a teenager). Now, with that said, being an adult isn’t all awful, clearly.
Still, there are elements and components of being an adult that most teenagers (through no fault of their own) just don’t understand until they happen. It’s actually amazing how many of these are 100 percent true and realistic.

It really is important to find a good balance between work and life. For some people, their work is their life, and that’s fine as long as happiness is still there.

The point of this is to make mention of the fact, though, that some adults end up getting consumed by their jobs simply by necessity. It happens to the best of them and many understand just how hard it is to find a good “work-life balance.” Hmm, is that even possible in this day and age?
