It’s not as if most teenagers don’t understand that you have to work as an adult. However, it’s one thing to understand it and it’s a totally different ball game to actually live it. For a lot of adults, their jobs are their lives.
To be fair, it’s sort of difficult to avoid having your job be the center point of your life. After all, most people will be working most of their lives to pay their bills, support their family, and so and so forth.
