Once we realized that this was a fake, we began to unearth a few more clues to suggest the whole thing was staged. In the photo, we immediately noticed that her husband-to-be didn’t even have a box for the ring. If it had been as expensive as they had claimed, it would have almost definitely come in a box.
It doesn’t seem very realistic that a ring of this price would have come without any form of protection. Although it took us a while to work out what was wrong with the photo, a lot of other people noticed this mistake.
