Considering there were so many inconsistencies with the post, they thought they would be found out a lot sooner than they were.
However, many users did comment that they believed even selling their house wouldn’t cover the ‘millions’ it would cost to actually have a purple diamond. Another commented that the ring couldn’t have been perfect while also being the wrong size. So, some people did catch on!
