Many people use the roofs of their cars to transport heavy and often hard objects from A to B, and this is certainly the case for tradespeople who keep ladders on the top of their car.
While many vehicles come with roof racks specifically designed for such a thing, that doesn’t mean that you want the roof of your car to be laden with scratches. So, one of the best ways to protect it at all times is to strap a couple of pool noodles to the roof and to create a barrier between the car and the metal.
