After the traumatizing incident, Milissa made the decision to pull Camden out of school in order to ease his stress. Today, she is working on finding a positive learning environment for her son, although it might take time until she finds a place she feels like she can trust again.
While she is satisfied with the steps Hope Academy has taken since the recordings went public, she isn’t ready to forgive and forget that easily – and is still seeking legal advice and planning on filing complaints with the Department of Education.
