Finally, Sid discovered what was going on. The grave wasn’t for a human being. It turns out, upon clearing the rest of the tombstone and reading what it said, this area was a burial site for a beloved pet rabbit.
Written on the tombstone were the words “In memory of the little Duchie” and the inscription was accompanied by a drawing of a bunny. What was even more incredible was that the years were in the late 1800s, meaning the tomb was over 130 years old.
