Sid realized that if people were willing to put out the money to properly bury a pet, then obviously the bunny meant a lot to them. Another thing he noticed by the years on the tombstone was the family would also be long gone, so there wasn’t anyone left to care for the gravesite.
Because of this, Sid decided to take the task on himself. He cleaned the area, and even returns every so often to touch it up. He wanted to respect the family and their love for Duchie.
