Pets are often a large part of people’s lives, whether they have a dog, cat, or in this case, a bunny rabbit. When someone’s beloved pet passes on, people often feel as if they lost an important member of their family.
That was clearly the case here and the owners of Duchie wanted to make sure they paid the utmost respect to him after his death. Sid even noticed that Duchie passed at age 13, and since rabbits usually only live until ten, he must have been well-taken care of.
