The name ‘Elizabeth’ itself derives from the Hebrew name of Elisheva, which translates to “My God is an oath”. It seems Kate is rather fond of this name-sharing, because Princess Charlotte’s full name is ‘Charlotte Elizabeth Diana’.
This is a clear example of how subtle honors and tributes to ancestors are passed down through generations to generations. Who knows what the future for the Windsors looks like? But to speculate, the three people we have to keep an eye on are the adorably cute George, Charlotte, and Louis.
