Mike certainly wasn’t doing anything that most other teenagers haven’t tried at least once. We’re not sure if this was his first time playing hooky, but there’s definitely a technique to doing this successfully.

For example, make sure your mom doesn’t work at the school, because it would probably be super obvious that you’re not there. And if you have a cell phone, you’ll barely get to enjoy your day of freedom before you get that phone call to return, or else.
