Even when you’ve taken every precaution under the sun, there’s no way to control Mother Nature. Initially, Patrick was probably relieved that the rain held off until his guests were safely inside the house.

However, it would have helped if the rain continued while they were leaving, because there’s no way to explain away those 100 dry spots. That’s an awful lot of guests, though, so we’re thinking his neighbors would have given him away, even if the weather didn’t.
