Sandra landed the role of Leigh Anne Tuohy in the hit film The Blind Side. The football themed film is based on the true story of offensive lineman Michael Oher who went on to play for the Baltimore Ravens, the Tennessee Titans, and the Carolina Panthers.
Sandra played the role of the real Leigh Anne so well that she was awarded her first Academy Award in 2010. A well deserved honor for Bullock. She also won a Golden Globe and SAG Award for this role.
