This the thing: as hard as it is to resist contacting someone who has left you, your pride and dignity will forever thank you if you succeed and push through those first lonely months without giving in. If the person wants to stay friends, they will contact you. But most likely, they won’t.
This person made that painfully clear, when they informed their heartbroken ex they would only get to see them when they post pics on their social media. Ouch.
