New York native Tanya Roberts started out as a model, but soon enough made her way into acting. She met and married the aspiring screenwriter Barry at the age of 19, which played a big part in that.
The two supported each other as they tried to make it in the film industry (and stayed together through it all, until he passed away in 2006). In 1980 Tanya was cast in the hit show Charlie’s Angels, and five years later landed the role as a Bond girl in A View To A Kill.
