Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Lynda Carter landed her claim to fame when she won the Miss World Pageant in 1972. Soon thereafter, Lynda landed some small acting roles.
While her career was doing well, it wasn’t until she took on the role of Wonder Woman in 1975 that she shot to stardom. This is what we truly remember Lynda Carter for. The show ran for three seasons and had 59 episodes until it eventually ran its course and was canceled in 1979.
