Starting her career as a successful New York fashion model in the ‘70s, Kim Basinger made the switch to film in 1976. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
She appeared in several films before her breakout role as Bond girl Domino Petachi in the 1983 film ‘Never Say Never Again.’ In 1989 she starred in Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ alongside Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson, which is still her highest-grossing film to date.
