When starting her career in 1965, Sally Field could never have known the full life of acting and directing that was to be her path. She received her first Academy Award for Best Actress in the film Norma Rae in 1979.
But this was only the beginning, she has gone on to earn a total of 18 different awards for her talent. We know her well from her roles in Mrs. Doubtfire and Forrest Gump during the 1990s. Sally has never even slowed down during her career thus far.
