Uxbridge, England, 15 February, 1951, saw the birth of Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg. She changed her name to Jane Seymour, after the English queen of the same name, while she was studying at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Hertfordshire.

She started acting in 1969, but only received international fame for her role as the Bond girl ‘Solitaire’ in the James Bond film ‘Live and Let Die.’ From here, Seymour’s career took off and she starred in several feature films.
