It’s almost impossible to see Jennifer being into the goth lifestyle since she looks like a laid-back ray of Californian sunshine. This phase was a self-proclaimed period of experimenting.
In the words of Jen herself, “it was the ’80s, and I looked like a goth nightmare.” Back then, she was adorably chubby with full cheeks and a shy demeanor due to being bullied. She wasn’t shallow or vain – in fact, it was the opposite. Jennifer consciously tried to make herself look less attractive since she was quite the rebel.
